Over his 35 + year career, Gabriel has held senior management and leadership positions in engineering, project management, operations, strategic planning, sales, negotiations, management training, business consulting and international business development. Prior to forming Najera Consulting Group, Gabriel worked for 20 years with various divisions of Amoco Corporation in progressively more responsible positions. While serving as the manager of International Business Opportunities for Amoco's Lubricants Business Unit, he developed and implemented business strategies for Mexico, Russia, Poland and China markets, as well as managing international and domestic business relationships with internal and external customers.

Gabriel has a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Chicago and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University.
