Senior Advisor to the President

Gerry D’Souza brings to Najera Consulting Group three decades of high-level management, product development, strategic planning and marketing experience for one of the world’s largest companies—British Petroleum (BP), formerly Amoco Corporation. Prior to joining Najera Consulting Group, Gerry was senior vice president of commercial marketing for BP, supervising a sector of the business that has an annual net income of $3 billion. Gerry developed numerous business strategies for Amoco, which included developing an e-business web site linking customers to suppliers throughout Europe and North America. He also created a centralized services organization in London, which through satellite uplink, connected multicultural and multilingual offices in several countries to the London headquarters.

Graduating with a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Gerry added a second Master’s in a dual program of industrial engineering and business management from IIT. Gerry serves on the Executive Board of Trustees of Benedictine University and as an advisor on the President’s Council to the Illinois Institute of Technology.
